A man in his 60s was killed in his own home after being stabbed to the head and having hot liquid thrown over him.
Joshua Houghton has admitted manslaughter, after brutally attacking 62-year-old Paul Cooke in Macclesfield.
He pleaded guilty on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
