Tributes have been paid to a man at the centre of a murder investigation in Tameside. Detectives launched an investigation after Thomas Campbell, 38, was found dead at a property on Riverside, Mossley, on Sunday morning (July 3).
Police were called to the address at about 10.30am. Detectives believe Mr Campbell, who was a dad, was killed in 'targeted attack'.
His devastated loved ones 'want answers'. Tributes have been paid to Mr Campbell on social media following his death.
Balloons were released in his memory by his friends and family on Tuesday evening.

Chris Noden posted on Facebook: "Only just sinking in now what’s happened and don’t seem real. Rest In peace Tom Cam can’t believe il never see you again, you was one of the nicest guys you could meet, thinking of your family and especially your kids, r.i.p mate"
Ben Reilly added: "Cant believe this wat a top guy rip Tom thinking of all ur family an close friends."
Another woman who knew Mr Campbell described him as a 'lovely guy'. Friends and family of Mr Campbell gathered in Clayton on Tuesday evening to release balloons in his memory.
In an update issued this morning (July 6), police said the investigation into Mr Campbell's death is continuing to progress. They are continuing to appeal for anyone with information - 'no matter how small - to come forward.
Detective Inspector Mark Davis, from GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: "This was a horrific attack on a man in his home and our thoughts are very much with the family who are understandably distressed and wanting answers. Doja Cat and Baz Luhrmann have paid tribute to Elvis actress Shonka Dukureh following her death. Dukureh, who made her movie debut as blues singer Big Mama Thornton in Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic, was found dead at her home in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday at the age of 44.
