A Wigan man has appeared before magistrates charged with stalking involving serious alarm and distress.

Two people from Trafford have been charged with a number of commercial burglaries that took place over a span of three months.
Sharon Bonney, 63, of Bath Crescent, Old Trafford, and Stephen Hargreaves, 45, of no fixed abode, have both been charged with four counts of commercial burglary.
They have also been charged with one count of possession of cannabis.

Police said the charges are related to four commercial burglaries that took place across Manchester between November 2021 and February 2022.
Hargreaves has also been charged with an additional eight counts of commercial burglary, one count of attempted burglary and one count of assaulting a police officer.
The further charges relate to alleged burglaries across Manchester between December 2021 and January 2022.
Bonney has also been charged with a further count of commercial burglary and making off without payment after a report of a person driving away from a Shell garage without paying.
They have both been remanded in custody.
They are due to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court at a later date.
