The man accused of murdering Tyrone Williamson is set to stand trial later this year.
Anthony George, 41, was charged with murder in January, after 25-year-old Tyrone was stabbed to death outside his home in Battenberg Road, Bolton, on Saturday, December 11.
Appearing at Manchester Crown Court in Crown Square today, March 4, Mr George pleaded not guilty to murder, and will be held in custody until his trial on May 23.

Judge Anthony Cross QC heard that almost all of the evidence relating to the case has been served, and the main outstanding matter was psychiatric and psychology reports relating to Mr George.
An inquest into Tyrone's death opened at the end of December. Senior coroner for Manchester West Timothy Brennand heard that stab wounds to Tyrone's chest and abdomen were deemed to be the cause of death by pathologist Dr Naomi Carter.
Police coroner's officer Benjamin Dobbs said that Tyrone was involved in an 'altercation' outside his home and was stabbed multiple times.
Tyrone was rushed to the Manchester Royal Infirmary but died a 8.16pm on the same day as the attack. Anthony Derek George, of no fixed address, was charged with murder in January.
On December 11, police were called to a report that a 41-year-old man had been stabbed on Lincoln Road in Bolton - two hours after a report of another stabbing on Battenberg Road in Bolton where Tyrone was found and taken to hospital.
Five men were previously charged with attempted murder in connection with the Lincoln Road incident.
