A man accused of murdering a woman and attempting to murder a man in Wigan could go on trial in the autumn.
Andrew Wadsworth, 36, appeared at Manchester Crown Court via prison video link for a short hearing earlier today.
Mr Wadsworth is accused of the murder of 32-year-old Melissa Belshaw.
Ms Belshaw died after being stabbed at her house on Upholland Road in Billinge last week. A man in his 40s was seriously injured.
