A 62-year-old man has died after a horror crash on a Scots road yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the incident near Balmedie around 3.20pm on Thursday following a two vehicle collision.
A silver Ford Transit van and a silver Hyundai i40 car collided on the northbound carriageway of the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road near to Foveran.
The driver of the Hyundai sadly could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Transit van was uninjured.
The road was closed
