An 18-year-old man was caught trying to break into a police car in Ashton-under-Lyne while officers were on another job.
Police were called out after an alarm was activated at a town centre pawnbroker on Monday afternoon (March 15).
While officers were on the scene trying to deal with that incident, the teenager was spotted on CCTV trying to enter a police car.
