When new magazine caught up with former Love Island star Malin Andersson and her newborn daughter Xaya last week, we were both mesmerised and moved by her emotional journey to motherhood.The 29-year-old has spoken openly over the years about the many hardships she has faced during her turbulent adult life - from saying goodbye to her infant daughter and beloved mother , to finding the strength to walk away from an abusive relationship. Now, the reality star has opened up to new about her daughter Xaya being the light at the end of a dark tunnel and gives raw advice to those who might be suffering oppression from someone that claims to love them.

It was the same hospital in which she had lost her first daughter Consy three years before – and she feared she was reliving a nightmare.
Back then, she was forced to kiss her four-week-old girl goodbye after she died following medical complications, having been born seven weeks early. This time, after struggling to dilate more than 5cm, Malin was forced to undergo an emergency C-section again.
