Sky internet customers are reporting a major outage in areas of Greater Manchester on Wednesday morning.
Reports on social media say homes and businesses in the Bury and Wigan areas are without internet. According to some, the outage began at around 4.30am on Wednesday morning.
There are also reports in the Preston and Chorley areas of Lancashire, as well as in Astley and Atherton, near Wigan, and in Ramsbottom and Tottington, near Bury.

Other areas, however, are also thought to have been hit, including Bolton, Salford and Manchester. Customers reported Sky's online forum being flooded with messages.
Sky Broadband has said it is 'aware of an issue impacting some Sky Broadband customers'. "We're working to get these impacted customers back online as soon as possible," said a spokesperson today.
One message, posted at 5am, said: "Not working in Bury. Now over an hour with no internet service. Not great."
Another said: "I'm in Bury as well and nothing since 4.30ish."
Lola, writing on X, formerly Twitter, said: "Just came onto Twitter to try and see if I was the only one. We’re in Totty and it’s down. I’ve tried everything. Meant to start work (from home) at 7."
The Sky Help Team's Facebook page lists planned maintenance in the Gloucestershire area this morning.
But one poster said: "Sky is down in Bury, Greater Manchester - not sure why when there is no scheduled maintenance listed here. Please fix it."
The discussion page on the Sky Community website also contains comments from customers reporting outages in Leigh, Wigan and Bury.
