Major Fall Film Festivals Commit to Cooperate, Not Compete Amid Pandemic

Lori Loughlin got her start as a young soap opera star and made it big on network TV — but her time in the spotlight hasn’t been all positive.The New York native became interested in acting at a young age after she fell into the modeling world at 11 years old. “My mom had a friend that was going into Manhattan to meet with an agency for modeling,” she recalled in a 2004 interview with the Washington Post.

Well, it looks like the fall film festival season is really hoping it can still go on. The New York Film Festival, in some form or another, is especially pressing ahead, revealing the first of their big three movies for 2020, which will be Chloé Zhao’s road trip tale Nomadland, starring Frances McDormand.
