Maisie Smith and Max George share passionate kiss as they are caught on camera

After months of speculation about their relationship, Max George and Maisie Smith finally went Instagram official on Sunday 4 September, and they've now shared a snap of themselves passionately kissing. Former EastEnders actress Maisie, 21, took to Instagram on Tuesday 6 September to wish her The Wanted beau a happy 34th birthday as she shared the sweet image of them clearly in the throes of new romance.
In the snap, Maisie rocked a bright yellow halter neck dress, whilst Max donned a white t-shirt with a multicoloured feather print around the neckline as he planted a smooch on his new love. A pool and sun beds could be seen through the windows in the background, suggesting that the picture was taken during one of their recent holidays to Crete and Mallorca.
Max immediately reposted the snap to his own Instagram story as he wrote: "Thank you beautiful girl," alongside a red heart emoji. Earlier on her Instagram, Maisie had alluded to one of the romantic holidays as she posted a boomerang video, presumably taken by Max, as she smiled with her head on her hands aboard a small boat on sparkling turquoise sea.
Over the top of the clip she wrote: "Tb [throwback] to the best holiday ever," to which she added two huge heart emojis. Max and Maisie both starred in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing 2020, and they're said to have grown closer whilst taking part in the live tour earlier this year.
Their romance came after Max split from his previous girlfriend of four years, Stacey Giggs - the ex-wife of former footballer Ryan Giggs - who is said to be " shocked but not surprised " at Maisie and Max's new romance.
