With the promotion, Turner makes history as the first Black woman to serve as co-host of “ET.”“It means everything to me,” Turner tells Variety of the historic moment.

Yaphet Kotto, best known for roles in "Alien" and the James Bond film "Live and Let Die" has died at age 81.  The actor’s wife, Tessie Sinahon, issued a statement on Facebook Monday night announcing news of his passing. She did comment on a cause of death.  "I'm saddened and still in shocked of the passing of my husband Yaphet of 24 years.
