Married At First Sight UK star Georges Berthonneau has finally posted one of the 'squatting for baguettes' clips that his wife Peggy Rose so disapproved of on the E4 show. Georges, 30, upset Peggy, 32, when he opened up about his "online gaming" hobby, which sees him take part in challenges - including squatting on-camera - set by other users in the community. During in-laws week, Georges explained how it works to Peggy's family, saying: “I do online gaming, and in my community the more you watch, you gain points, but I renamed them baguettes.
And with those baguettes, the more you watch, the more points you get and you can spend basically whatever I have as a redemption. "One of my redemptions is squatting, and I said that I squat online – fully clothed.” Unimpressed by his hobby, Peggy hit back: “To me, squatting is an activity one would do if someone is interested in looking at the person’s body. I wouldn’t want my partner doing that out of respect for themselves and me being their partner.
It had caused huge upset earlier in their relationship too, when Georges had first revealed his penchant for squatting for his fans. Georges has now shared a clip of him squatting on Instagram. He can be seen dressed in an animal print one piece with a large black belt on, which he removes before he begins squatting in front of the camera.
"The famous squatting video! Don’t be afraid to share it with your friends It was a strong man outfit not a Tarzan outfit. What a pair of legs," Georges captioned the video. Fans were quick to laugh at the clip, with one pointing out: "Fair to say you and Peggy must not be together anymore she would not be allowing you to share this," with a laughing emoji.
