Married At First Sight UK stars Shona Manderson and Matt Pilmoor couldn't contain their excitement after finally going public with their romance exclusively to OK! on Thursday, 16 November. Shona, 31, and Matt, 29, met on the E4 show earlier this year but Shona was partnered with Brad Skelly while Matt was paired with Adrienne Naylor. Both marriages failed to work out, but Shona and Matt went on to find love with each other at the MAFS reunion in June.
As MAFS is filmed in advance, all brides and grooms must refrain from revealing any spoilers ahead of the series airing, therefore Matt and Shona have had to carefully keep their relationship under wraps over recent months. After speaking to OK!, Shona and Matt have been gushing over one another on social media. The couple posted a video showing the moment their announcement went live, with them both unable to contain their excitement as their secret was finally out in the open.
Shona could be seen cuddling up to Matt before they shared a kiss. "The moment the announcement was finally dropped and we could be free," Matt captioned the post, which Shona then reshared and added: "I love you @mattpilmoor so happy I can finally say it". Beaming with happiness, Shona told us: "We have a really healthy, happy, safe, fun, relationship - I really appreciate Matt so much, it’s what I deserve, we deserve each other.
