She might be a new mum, but Maeva D'Ascanio is making sure she still makes time to pamper herself, as she headed to the salon for a fresh new look. The Made in Chelsea star had originally chopped her long locks off back in March when she revealed a dramatic new look which saw her with a blunt bob that grazed her chin.
However, it seems the new mum wasn’t feeling her bold new look as just four months later she’s reversed the change, adding extensions to her hair to give her a new lengthy style. Sharing a video of herself on Instagram earlier today (July 29), Maeva revealed her gorgeous new ‘do, which features long elbow-length extensions and a much lighter, warmer new colour.
The MIC star posted the video, which shows her swishing her new extra long extensions over her shoulders, with the caption: “Sorry can’t hear you with this hair volume!” Maeva also shared a follow up post with several snaps of her new look, writing “Thank you thank you” and tagging Emily Cataldo at the Barnets Hair salon. In the series of photos, Maeva showed off her glossy new tresses, which are a much warmer caramel brownie shade of brunette.
Her new colour also features a subtle balayage, with darker roots and lighter, blonde-toned ends that give a natural, sun-kissed effect and suit Maeva’s natural tan perfectly, with the darker roots making upkeep and maintenance much easier for the busy mum. Hairstylist Emily shared her secrets behind the look in her own Instagram post, writing: “BALAYAGE BABE … And just like that, all of her hair dreams had just come true.” The hairstylist revealed that she had used a combination of extensions from celeb-loved brand Beauty Works for Maeva’s gorgeous new colour, mixing the 22 inch hair weft in shade Dubai,
