Madonna Cancels Upcoming Concerns Amid Coronavirus Crisis

The lists of cancellations in the fashion world continues to grow due to the global novel coronavirus pandemic, with multiple fashion weeks across Europe and the United States cancelled and one postponed. In Paris, the show will not go on for men's fashion week, slated for June, and the haute couture shows (which would have included the highly anticipated return of Balenciaga), scheduled for July, with both being cancelled by the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.

Speculations were already rife about the prestigious film festival getting canceled in the wake of COVID 19 scare due to the fear of infection and now the reports have turned out to be true. The mega event was originally scheduled to be held from May 12 to May 23, 2020, in France.

Universal and Illumination have postponed the release of “Minions: The Rise of Gru” amid the coronavirus crisis. The animated family film was scheduled to hit theaters July 3 and doesn’t have a new launch date.

The Cannes Lions festival of creativity is the latest victim of the coronavirus pandemic. The event is now postponed from June 22-26 to the previously announced contingency dates of Oct. 26-30, the organizers said on Wednesday.

NEW YORK -- Madonna has cancelled the last two stops of her latest tour in France after the country said it was banning events of more than 1,000 people to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

The ongoing coronavirus outbreak has led Madonna to cancel a number of upcoming shows.
