Madison Beer Reveals She Was Tear Gassed At George Floyd Protest

Riot Games, the Santa Monica-based video game developer behind League of Legends, has placed one of its senior staff members on administrative leave after the executive posted a Facebook note about George Floyd. The message was posted by Ron Johnson, global head of consumer products.

In the wake of nationwide unrest following the death of George Floyd, an unarmed man who died while in police custody in Minnesota, Activision has postponed new seasons of its first-person shooter franchise,Call of Duty. The Santa Monica-based video game publisher tweeted the update on Monday evening ahead of Blackout Tuesday, a daylong "social media blackout" in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

"This is precisely the time to contemplate what it means to stand as an ally," the actor said

Cole Sprouse revealed that he was arrested while peacefully protesting George Floyd’s death. On June 1, the Riverdale actor took to the streets to join protesters and raise his voice against the fatal arrest of Floyd.

Madison Beer said she was tear-gassed while protesting the death of George Floyd in Santa Monica, Calif., on Sunday. The singer took to her Instagram Story writing, "was just tear gassed leave santa monica now" over a selfie which showed the 21-year-old wearing a mask.

Cole Sprouse is sharing his experience of protesting after George Floyd's death. On Monday afternoon, the Riverdale star took to Instagram and revealed that he was arrested over the weekend in Santa Monica, Calif.  "Before the voracious horde of media sensationalism decides to somehow turn it about me, there's a clear need to speak about the circumstances: Black Lives Matter.

Cole Sprouse shared with his over 32 million Instagram followers that he was arrested in Santa Monica on May 31 during a peaceful protest after the brutal death of George Floyd on May 25. In the caption to his post, which featured a black and yellow “Black Lives Matter” banner, the Riverdale actor, 27, wrote, “A group of peaceful protesters, myself included, were arrested yesterday in Santa Monica.

After a weekend of protests in response to the killing of George Floyd, celebrities continue to use their platform and resources in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.  Halsey, who stood on the front line of a protest in Santa Monica, Calif. this weekend, was photographed providing medical aid to to fellow protesters who had been injured.  "do not underplay these rubber bullets bc you have been told they are 'not lethal'.

As cities across the nation reel from the juxtaposition of events related to the brutal murder of George Floyd amind a global pandemic, more stay at home curfew orders have been issue and West Hollywood has led the way for Los Angeles.
