Kelly made headlines when he decided to put on an impromptu performance for fans outside his hotel room, and thousands turned out for the show.Despite that, the band was still disappointed they couldn't perform with the Foo Fighters.
However, Grohl texted Kelly and invited him and his crew to their hotel to hang out. Kelly was worried because, when they got to the hotel, he realized, «There's like 20 of us!»However, the Foo Fighters were very welcoming to his large group — Hawkins in particular."[Taylor] went up to every single one of us and gave us each our moment,” the singer recalled.
