High-street chain M&S has been met with some harsh criticism for a new jumpsuit after shoppers claimed it looked like 'something a mechanic would wear'.
The British retailer regularly highlights their latest clothing items on social media, gaining thousands of likes and comments.
This time, it's a £69 belted wide leg jumpsuit that has shoppers talking - but for all the wrong reasons.
The new jumpsuit was described by M&S as "casually elegant", featuring a bold contrast zipper on the front and patch pockets on the side.
Unfortunately, some retailers' fans seem to think it looks more like work-wear than high-fashion.
The drama unfolded after the retailer took to their official Facebook page to share a snap of a customer who had styled the jumpsuit with a chic white handbag.
They penned: "Walking into the new week in an anything but blue outfit."
Many shoppers were quick to joke about the styling of the new outfit, with some of them admitting that the jumpsuit looked like it belonged in Kwick Fit.
"Kwick Fit fitter comes immediately to mind ....", joked one shopper.
"For goodness sake, it looks like something a mechanic would wear", said a second unimpressed shopper.
"Good to wear in the garage", agreed a third.
"M&S you really do need to get a new fashion buyer. You are just getting further and further out of touch", said a fourth.
Other shoppers joked that the outfit was similar to a boiler suit that they would only wear to "do some DIY" or "to decorate the house with."
Jokes aside, there were a few shoppers who were more complimentary about the outfit, with some commenting to say that it was "beautiful."
"I love it", commented one impressed shopper.
"Love Love Love this jumpsuit, will definitely be getting it as, soon as I can",
