Notorious B.I.G. has unveiled details of a 25th anniversary release of ‘Life After Death’.The release will take the form of a new boxset that will contain the original album plus 12″ releases of hits ‘Hypnotize’, ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’, ‘Sky’s The Limit’ and ‘Nasty Boy’ (via Complex).It will also include a commemorative booklet with rare photos, new linear notes and and commentary from team members who worked on the original release.The box set is part of a year of celebrations in memory of Biggie Smalls, who would have turned 50 this year.The year-long campaign – “Sky’s the Limit: A Year Celebrating the Legacy of the Notorious B.I.G.” – will also see the release of an ‘enhanced digital version’ of ‘Life After Death’, a number of online events, upgrades of his entire video back-catalogue on YouTube plus some “additional surprises” (via Pitchfork).Last September, the Brooklyn apartment where B.I.G.

Netflix's documentary may not have seen the last of Simon Leviev.In the doc, which is currently one of the most-watched movies on Netflix, Leviev, born Shimon Hayut, is said to have posed as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul in order to woo women on Tinder and then con them out of money. The documentary does not say how many people Leviev allegedly swindled, but estimates he made around $10 million. Leviev has since been banned from the online dating app, and upon the release of the doc announced via Instagram Story that he was preparing to tell his version of events.

Mitski’s new album ‘Laurel Hell’ was the biggest-selling record in America in its first week of release, new figures have confirmed.The record, which was released on February 4, is currently at Number Five on the Billboard 200 chart, behind albums by Gunna, Yo Gotti and Morgan Wallen, as well as the Encanto soundtrack.Although it didn’t hit the top spot on the chart, ‘Laurel Hell’ did score the highest pure sales numbers of the week, Billboard has confirmed.
