Lucasfilm recently revealed ten new “Star Wars” projects at their Disney Investors day coming to Disney+ in the near future (11 when you add the belatedly announced “The Book Of Boba Fett“), but a fairly significant update to one of them has been quietly unveiled.

With Season 2 of “The Mandalorian” wrapped up, we can finally start looking ahead to the vast number of new TV projects coming to Disney+ that aim to expand the “Star Wars” universe.

We’re getting some clarity on Disney+’s The Mandalorian spinoff The Book of Boba Fett and the surprising scene at the end of the Season 2 finale. It will be a standalone spinoff series and not a replacement for The Mandalorian Season 3, The Mandalorian creator and showrunner Jon Favreau confirmed Monday in an appearance on Good Morning America.
