is coming. On Thursday, October 27, Penguin Random House revealed more details about the Duke of Sussex's hotly anticipated memoir, including the official release date and first look at the cover. According to the publisher, the 416-page memoir, titled Spare, will be released on January 10, 2023.

Angelique Jackson Focus Features has set A.V. Rockwell’s “A Thousand and One,” starring Teyana Taylor, for theatrical release on March 31, 2023. Written and directed by A.V. Rockwell in her feature-length directorial debut, the film centers on unapologetic and free-spirited Inez (Taylor), who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from the foster care system. As the film’s official description explains, the story follows mother and son “holding onto their secret and each other,” as they “set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City.” “A Thousand and One” is produced by Sight Unseen’s Eddie Vaisman and Julia Lebedev; Hillman Grad’s Lena Waithe and Rishi Rajani; and Makeready’s Brad Weston. Sight Unseen’s Oren Moverman is executive producing alongside Rachel Jacobs.

The Real Housewives of New York City may be on pause but stars Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan are not and they’re set to take their next adventure. Bravo has announced Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, a spinoff that has the socialites travel to the small town of Benton, Illinois that will premiere in 2023.

According to the show’s official logline, Morgan and de Lesseps will “help spruce up their small town, which has a population just shy of 7,000. It’s a fish-out-of-water experience for everyone involved, especially when the two Manhattanites check in to the local motel. At the request of the mayor, they take on tasks to boost morale and galvanize the town with new spirit. From building a new playground to revitalizing the local theater with a full-on variety show, Luann and Sonja have their work cut out for them as they embrace their new temporary home. Whether searching for the town’s famous crappie fish in the lake with their bare hands or going mudding with monster trucks, one thing is for certain – with Luann and Sonja in charge and out of their element, hijinks and hilarity are sure to follow.”

King Charles III ascended the British royal throne after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, last month, his official coronation date has just been set. The coronation will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey in London, England, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. According to the press release from Buckingham Palace, the coronation «will reflect the monarch's role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.» A source close to King Charles III tells ET that the coronation ceremony “will be shorter and simpler than 1953 but absolutely still on a scale and spectacle befitting of sovereignty, history and tradition."ET previously reported that the official event is being coordinated by the Duke of Norfolk, Edward Fitzalan-Howard, and will be a shorter ceremony than previous coronations. It will also «reflect the cultural diversity of the nation,» the source said.  Charles' eldest son, Prince William, who is the next in line to the throne, will play a significant role in the ceremony. The news, which was first reported by the UK’s, will reflect the new king's wishes for a more modern ceremony and his desires for a slimmed down monarchy.

An Oregon serial rapist known as the "jogger rapist" is scheduled to be released from prison in December after serving nearly 36 years, almost the entirety of his maximum sentence. Richard Gillmore, who got his nickname because he would stake out victims while jogging by their homes, was arrested in 1986. He confessed to raping nine girls in the Portland area in the 1970s and 1980s but was only convicted in one case due to the statute of limitations.  A jury found him guilty in 1987 of raping 13-year-old Tiffany Edens the year before.
