During Wednesday's episode, Catherine Agbaje and Elom Ahlijah-Wilson were brutally dumped before the Islanders learnt that another couple would be going home. Summoned to stand in front of the fire pit were Leah Taylor and Montel McKenzie, Kady McDermott and Ouzy See, and Jess Harding and Sammy Root.The episode ended on a cliffhanger and Thursday's episode saw Leah and Montel leave.
The villa was left completely gobsmacked over the exit as Leah and Montel had arguably been one of the most consistent couples despite their Casa Amor drama. While Kady McDermott was left in tears over her "rock" Leah leaving and made a pointed dig at the other less stronger couples in the villa, questioning why they hadn't gone home instead. Talking in an exit interview, Montel said: "It’s bittersweet.
It’s a bit disappointing with the way that we left but I am happy because I am leaving with Leah and a strong connection. It’s hard to be sad when I am leaving with her." Speaking about what is next, he added: "We have full intentions of making things work and we will try to see each other as much as we can.
