Love Island All Stars cast member Toby Aromolaran has admitted he's nervous about the prospect of losing his job by appearing on the brand new series, which launches Monday 15 January. Toby, 24, who was a runner-up on the 2021 summer series of the original show, broke up with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Burrows in October 2022. Since then, the reality TV star has concentrated on his football team and various TV appearances, but is now worried he could lose his spot on the squad.
In an interview with OK! and other outlets, the sportsman opened up on his fears. Asked if he thinks he'll still have a spot on the team when he comes out of the villa, depending on when that is, Toby admitted: "We'll find out in... however long I last in there.
"I really hope so, but this one, this one is the the one I'm most scared about. I might not have a spot when I come back. "I hope I do though.
I'll think about it every day in there," the TV star laughed. "I'll be like, oh, gosh, maybe I might start training in there." Toby went on to say that despite his nerves about ditching the team mid-way through the season, the team are incredibly "supportive" of his career dreams. Asked if the group had given him their "blessing" to go on the new Love Island series, the star mused: "I don't feel like a blessing.
"I think like they're they're always supportive, always proud of me," he went on. "But I don't feel like a blessing, because right now it's halfway through the season and probably one of the most important times of the season, because it's January. "It's like now you make a break for like, the playoffs and we're up there for the playoffs.
