Jack Fincham has been left devastated after sustaining a hand injury this week, meaning he is out of action when it comes to boxing and training. The Love Island star has been carving out a career for himself in boxing - something which he admits has 'turned his life around' - but won't be back in the ring until September. Sharing a snap of his swollen hand, Jack explained to fans that he wouldn't be able to box for a while, but didn't delve into details of the injury.
"Will be back in the ring as soon as my hand is healed. I think September time realistically. Devastated I haven't been able to train.
A couple of days break away I think and then back to it," wrote Jack to his 1.6 million followers, before clearing up that by 'back to it' he means running, rather than boxing training. "When I said back to it, I meant running and dieting. I'm under no illusion that I'll be able to punch anytime soon," clarified Jack, who won Love Island in 2018 with girlfriend-at-the-time Dani Dyer.
Jack has had a rocky few years since rising to fame and has been open about his struggles with drugs, avoiding jail after he was banned from driving last year following an incident where he drove with cocaine in his system.
The driving offence took place last August when authorities caught him driving along the hard shoulder during heavy traffic. He was stopped by officers in an unmarked police car after they spotted him driving a white BMW without due care and attention. However, in a chat with OK! recently, Jack - who recently revealed he is moving in with his TOWIE girlfriend Chloe Brockett - explained how he has turned things around and is focusing on boxing now.
