Toby Aromolaran has reflected on celebrating one year of dating girlfriend Chloe Burrows, and admitted that “a year flies by”. The pair met on Love Island 2021, and were runners up to Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who have recently called time on their relationship. While many couples ended up calling it quits with their villa partners, Chloe, 26, and Toby, 23, appear to be going from strength to strength.
Reflecting on a year with Chloe, Toby told OK! Online at the AMÀRE VODKA launch party in Manchester: “A year flies by, and that’s a good sign. If a year flies by and it’s not a drag, to me that’s a brilliant sign." He went on: "When [Chloe] said to me, ‘Tobes, you know it's going to be a year soon?’ I was like, ‘Oh my god! A year already?’. I then had to start thinking about what we’re going to do [for it].” To mark their anniversary, the pair went on a romantic trip to Paris, and visited Disneyland while they were there.
“Paris was brilliant,” Toby told us. “It was really nice. It’s the city of love isn’t it! The Eiffel Tower, Disneyland…” While Paris is undeniably a romantic setting, the 23 year old admitted that engagement isn’t on his mind just yet.
He quipped: “I’ve always told Chloe that if it’s going to be a marriage thing, you’ve got to ask the question. So yeah, I’ve left that in her court, not my court!” In light of good friends Millie and Liam having gone their separate ways recently, Toby gave an update on the pair. “I feel like both of them are doing okay,” he said.
