Love Island's Teddy Soares has broken his silence since ex-girlfriend Faye Winter confirmed their split.The 28 year old shared a cryptic post to Instagram as he talked about a "journey," whilst not directly referring to the breakup with his girlfriend of over a year. Teddy shared a number of smiling snaps in a dark blue jumper with heart motifs all over it, as he appeared to be sat outside a pub.
In his caption, Teddy wrote: "Love you all following the journey, there is always going to be ups and downs, but we keep going." Teddy's post came a day after Faye released a statement confirming their split, after months of speculation. Sharing a faded snap of her Golden Retriever, Bonnie, Faye wrote: read: "I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us." She concluded by saying: "Lots of love, Faye and Bonnie." Faye and Teddy, who were the last remaining couple together from the 2021 series of the show, recently unfollowed each other on Instagram. Rumours had been flying for months that the pair had gone their separate ways, with plenty of signs.
Prior to his cryptic Instagram post on 16 February, Teddy alluded to the split as he released a telling statement on Instagram on 4 February. It read: "Everything you have been reading in the press is false.
