Love Island's Paige confesses producers convinced her to get to know Adam in villa

Love Island semi-finalist Paige Thorne has revealed she was urged by producers to get to know her current partner Adam Collard after initially writing him off as a potential love interest. Paige, 24, and Adam, 27, got together on the ITV2 dating series this summer and made their romance official shortly after leaving the villa.
Newcastle native Adam made a shock return to the show this year, having previously appeared on series four back in 2018. But Paige has admitted the couple, who may have exchanged the big L-word, may never have been if not for the interference of Love Island producers.
On Thursday night, speaking on FUBAR Radio, the former paramedic from Swansea reveals she didn't know who Adam was before he entered the villa on day 36. She said: "All the girls were like Paige this is Adam; I was like why are you saying his name like that? I don't know who he is.
