Love Island's Liberty admits 'doubts' about Jake after heartbreaking clips

Love Island sweetheart Liberty Poole has spoken about her time outside the villa and shared details about the awkward TV interview she and Jake Cornish had after their exit. Speaking to Lauren Layfield and Rob Howard on Capital Breakfast, Liberty confessed that she had found the interview awkward because she hadn’t actually spoken to Jake since leaving the villa before it took place.

A new spoiler clip for Thursday 19 August's episode of Love Island sees Liberty Poole break down into tears as she storms out of the villa and admits she "can't pretend" she's happy with Jake Cornish, 24. While the start of the footage shows the pair enjoying each other's company by taking a series of selfies, later on Jake complains about his appearance while Liberty attempts to make him feel confident at how "fit" he looks in the snaps.

The preview for Thursday night’s episode of Love Island reveals that all may not be perfect for Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole as they enter the final week of the show. While Jake and Liberty have had issues in the past that they had supposedly “squashed”, Liberty was seen removing her mic and sobbing to Jake as she told him that she doesn’t think they are “right for each other”.

Love Island fans were left cringing on Tuesday night after Faye Winter called out Jake Cornish and Tyler Cruickshank during her "savage" roast as part of the villa's very "awkward" talent contest. During her routine, Faye, 26, slammed Tyler, 26, for only going "exclusive" with Kaz Kamwi as she accused him of "playing the field" and also claimed Jake, 24, asking Liberty Poole to be his girlfriend was "for votes".

Love Island’s dumped contestant Danny Bibby, who connected straight away with pal Jake Cornish in the villa, has insisted he is “100 per cent into Liberty”.The 25 year old Wigan plumber was voted out of the villa in a double exit with AJ Bunker last month, but his short but memorable stint saw him enter a love triangle with Lucinda Strafford and Aaron Francis.The contestant also struck up a firm bond with water engineer Jake, from Weston-Super-Mare, as the pair had lots in common.

Viewers are set to be in for a real treat on Tuesday night's episode of Love Island as the Islanders will show off their hidden talents.
