Love Island's Faye Winter has confirmed her split from Teddy Soares, who she met on the 2021 series of the show. Faye, 27, took to her Instagram stories to share a faded picture of her Golden Retriever dog, Bonnie, who she got with Teddy, 28, last year, as she made a statement. It read: "I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us." She concluded by saying: "Lots of love, Faye and Bonnie." Rumours have been swirling for months that the couple had decided to go their separate ways, following cryptic social media posts and a lack of posting about each other for a couple of months. Faye and Teddy, who were the last remaining couple together from the 2021 series of the show, recently unfollowed each other on Instagram. They also both appear to have deleted a shared Instagram snap of themselves attending the Avatar: The Way of Water premiere in London in December. Despite not confirming if he was no longer with Faye, Teddy recently broke his silence to post a statement to his Instagram stories.
It read: "Everything you have been reading in the press is false. I have nothing but love and respect for Faye since we first met. "I do not wish to comment on rumours speculating our relationship and ask for you to respect our privacy at this time." Teddy is yet to make a statement about the split, following Faye's post.
