Love Island will appear in the new one-off ITV programme Queens for the Night. He will appear alongside a whole host of other celebrities, including England rugby star Joe Marler and former Eastenders actor Adam Woodyatt, and will undergo a drag queen makeover for a special performance. Chris, now a TV presenter on ITV Racing, has spoken out about the experience after signing up to both get out of his comfort zone and break down stigmas, too.
Speaking in an interview with Select Car Leasing, Chris said: “I’m comfortable in my own skin and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I work in the entertainment industry, and to step foot into a completely different type of entertainment with the drag world is fascinating to me. For me, it’s about breaking down stigmas and showing that everyone should be comfortable in their own skin, free to do what they want to do and to be who they want to be. “I really enjoyed it. It’s made me want to tune in and watch drag shows when I’m at home flicking through channels on the TV.
And these drag queens are seriously talented - whether it’s comedy, dancing or singing. “To embrace that world was really great. We had a blast filming it, I learned so much, and it was great to step out of my comfort zone.
And I’ve had absolutely no negative comments from people on social media. I think everyone is just really looking forward to watching it. ” A broadcast date for Queens for the Night hasn’t been confirmed, but it will be hosted by Lorraine Kelly, who will be joined by judges including Spice Girl Mel C, comic Rob
