Love Island fans rejoice! The baby challenge is back, and this year's Islanders will show if they're ready to be parents – or not. Waking up, Ekin-Su questions: “Wait, what is that noise?” Tasha laughs: “This is my nightmare, I’ve actually woken up to a nightmare.” As the Islanders name, dress, feed, comfort and play with their babies, their skills as parents are being put to the test, with an award for the best parents up for grabs at the end of the day.
While Tasha's not overly enthused at the idea of looking after a toy baby for the day, Davide embraces his paternal side. Speaking about his day, he says: "It’s going well, she just ate, we’ll do some activities later today.
We’ll do some gym squats later with the baby.” Then mums go on to be treated to a girls brunch, leaving the boys in charge of the babies for the afternoon. Making up for Tasha's lack of excitement, Andrew says of the mum's trip out of the villa: "We can have a dad’s bonding session with the kids!” Following their brunch, the girls return to the villa to enjoy a baby disco with their kids and partners – where Tasha appears to have a change of heart.
"I had the time of my life, this is so adorable!” she says. As Davide gushes about the prospect of becoming a dad one day, Ekin-Su treats the babies and her fellow Islanders to a rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
The challenge gets Gemma and Luca talking about the prospect of having a family, where Gemma quips that Luca will be the one to take their kids to football training. Gemma later adds: “I always knew I wanted a lot of kids because I came from a big family… I wouldn’t go as far as broody but when the time’s right, the time’s right.” The pair's conversation comes after things came to blows
