Love Island 2024 is shaping up to be another drama-packed series, from celebrity bombshells to tense recouplings.
The latest series of the hit ITV2 dating show is well underway, with Islanders beginning to form connections and fall for one another. The reality show has introduced some new twists for the 2024 series, such as Love Island's first ever famous bombshell, in the form of ex-TOWIE favourite Joey Essex, 33, and new dates, including an overnight stay away from the main villa.
However, there's been one key aspect that appears to be missing from the new season and fans have been quick to demand it makes a return soon. Viewers have been wondering why there have been no challenges in this year's show.
Usually, the Islanders are sent out together as a group and take part in fun games, with some tasks even giving them an insight into how they're coming across to TV viewers at home. But making are taking to social media to share their confusion over the missing challenges.
One person wrote on X: "bring back the twitter challenge so Joey can be put in his place #Loveisland." A second penned: "how have we not had a SINGLE challenge yet??? did they waste the budget on joey essex or #loveisland," while a third said: "I never thought I'd say this but Im actually missing the challenges CAN THEY BRING THEM BACK #loveisland". A fourth even thought a challenge could help boost the Islanders' mood, adding: "can we have a fun little challenge for them or smth?? they all look so drained i feel bad #LoveIsland".
The latest twist in the villa came in the form of two new bombshells, Konnor and Matilda.
The pair arrived after another tense recoupling, which saw Samantha become the third Islander to be dumped from the island. To stir
