Love Island fans have been left baffled after claiming that one of the show's contestants, Munveer Jabbal, has been "missing" from the villa for three episodes. The recruitment manager, 30, entered the show on a high when he was initially coupled up with Mimii Ngulube - who is now in a triangle with Ayo Odukoya - and voted as most likely to be "boyfriend material." But viewers have since taken to social media to complain over the TV personality's lack of airtime, with Munveer barely making any appearances on the ITV dating show.
"I keep forgetting Munveer is even on the island.
These producers are doing him so dirty," one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Another added: "Ngl forgot Munveer was even on the show #LoveIsland." A third echoed this sentiment, writing: "Is Munveer even still in the villa? Not seen him for about 3 episodes." Former contestants have also weighed in, with last year's star Scott Van-Der-Sluis joking that Munveer was "enjoying a free holiday" after seemingly failing to form a connection with the other islanders.
Despite being coupled up with Patsy Field, the pair appeared to lack any romantic chemistry. On Sunday, he was also seen being friend-zoned by Jess White, who declared that they had no "immediate spark." Fans also noticed that the recruitment manager seemed to make more appearances than usual on Saturday's weekly Unseen Bits, leading to speculation that he is being 'edited out' of the main episodes.
