Love Island contestants have been candid about their surgery over the years, and this series is no change to that. Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu underwent a dramatic makeover before heading into the villa, having had fillers, veneers and her hair dyed ready for her stint on the show.
And Tasha Ghouri answered follower questions in a Q&A segment recorded before she went into the villa – and let fans in on the one small tweakment she has previously had done. But have the Love Island boys on this year's series had any tweakments or procedures? According to leading cosmetic surgeon Mr Alex Karidis, yes, they have! Mr Karidis told OK! that he believes a couple of the male contestants have had "minor tweakments" to appear "more aesthetically pleasing." Luca and Jacques, both of which Gemma Owen has been romantically linked to, are the villa men who Mr Karidis says have had injectables.
He said: "It is thought that a couple of the male contestants such as Jacques and Luca have had minor tweakments such as injectables to restore facial contours and enhance particular areas to be more aesthetically pleasing. This treatment is often used on the lips, cheeks, chin, nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines). "The most popular procedure on this year's show, amongst the male and female contestants, is presumably botox and filler. These treatments are popular in restoring youthful facial features. They require minimal recovery time and the results make your facial features such as cheekbones, lips and jaw stand out." The surgeon explained that Jacques may have had tweakments to "improve the appearance of his skin" too.
He shared: "It's suggested that Jacques has had some minor tweakments to improve the appearance of his skin. Acne scars have diminished
