As the first series of Love Island All Stars gets closer to the long awaited final, a fan favourite couple of the show have been axed in a brutal dumping, according to reports. In dramatic scenes set to air on Sunday, one couple were forced to say their goodbyes in "one last twist".
An insider claimed to The Sun: "Bosses often like to reserve one last twist before the final and, true to form, they saved one last brutal elimination for the last weekend of the series. "There were lots of tears shed as the pair said goodbye to their fellow villa residents.
Even though they will all be reunited again on Monday night for the final, they've all grown so close and no one wants to leave at this stage, especially so close to the end." As it stands, the remaining couples are Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk, Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran, Molly Smith and Tom Clare, Callum Jones and Jess Gale, Arabella Chi and Adam Maxted and Sophie Piper and Joshua Ritchie. It comes as dumped Love Island All Stars contestants will be returning to the villa for the final episode of the show on Monday, 19 February.
A source told The Sun that the reported twist will come as a “shock” to this year’s finalists who are unaware that this is happening. They also added that contestants will be “grilled” by host Maya Jama and that there will be plenty of “surprises” for viewers at home.
They said: “They've had time to digest what went on in the series, but it's fresh enough for all of their feelings bubbling up from under the surface to explode.
