Love is Blind star Jessica Batten has announced that she has given birth to her first child – a baby boy.The reality TV star, 38, who first shared news of her pregnancy back in January, has taken to social media to announce the birth. In a sweet post to Instagram, the new mum shared a series of cute photos and captioned the post: “Meet Dax, June 9, 2023”.The first snap shows Jessica sleeping in a hospital bed, while her newborn son sleeps beside her in his cot. This is followed by family photos of each of Ben’s older children from a previous relationship, Poppy and Ethan, holding their new baby brother.
In another photo, Jessica can be seen holding baby Dax, who is sharing her lap with the family dog, Payton Hester, who nearly died while she was taking part in the Netflix show after accidentally ingesting a small part of a stick. Following the news being shared to Instagram, friends were quick to comment, congratulating the couple on the birth of their little boy.
Love is Blind’s Shaina Hurley said: “Congratulations beautiful!!!!! He’s perfect”. While fellow season one contestant Giannina Gibelli commented: “Yayyyyy he’s here!!!!!” And Kelly Chase added: “he’s so perfect! Love seeing you as a mommy! Love you so much Jess! Congrats to you and Ben! can’t wait to meet Dax soon!” Jessica rose to fame after participating in season one of Netflix’s Love is Blind.
