Despite a recent fan petition to have the couple removed as co-hosts of, ET has learned that the Lacheys will keep their jobs on the hit Netflix series.Furthermore, there is no truth to the rumors that season 1 standout couple Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton are being brought in to replace the Lacheys in any capacity.Following the season 4 reunion special, which was filled with controversial moments, drama and was plagued by technical issues, the Change.org petition to have the Lacheys removed received a surge in signatures, more than 40,000.Vanessa was criticized for hyper-focusing on when the contestants planned to have babies, individually questioning each couple about when they planned to become parents.Contestant Paul Peden also called out Vanessa directly while speaking with ET on the red carpet after the reunion taping.«I was like, 'F**k, man.' They kept drilling, drilling it down on me,» Paul told ET in the aftermath of the taping.

's Nick Thompson announced he started a nonprofit to help reality TV stars in the wake of allegations of mistreatment on the hit Netflix show.Thompson, who appeared on season 2 of and married before divorcing co-star Danielle Ruhl, took to Instagram on Thursday and announced he's a founding board member and executive director of outreach for the UCAN Foundation, which aims to «provide mental health and legal support to past, current, and future reality TV contestants.»Thompson explained in a lengthy caption that, no, he and fellow reality TV stars didn't sign up to be food and water-deprived, allegations made by several of his co-stars, including his ex.  «I signed up for a 'psychologically-based' love experiment sold as 'different from other reality shows,'» he wrote in his caption. «Love is Blind S1 made a believer out of me, and I thought the experience could work for me if I went with good intentions and stayed true to myself.»Thompson went on to say that the «vetting» process «included psych tests and evaluations, background checks, and assurances the cast members selected is 'ready for marriage.'» He also claimed being told that the psychologist that conducted his evaluation spoke to his therapist to verity the ethics and conditions of the show out of concern it would diminish his progress.

Micah Lussier has some issues with her co-star, Zack Goytowski. Micah, a controversial contestant on season 4 of the hit Netflix dating show, was a guest on Thursday's episode of podcast, and she addressed some of the drama from the show's recent reunion special.«I don't know what Zack was on last night, but it was too much for me,» Micah said of her co-star, who originally got engaged to Micah's pal, Irina Solomonova, before calling it off and tying the knot with Bliss Poureetezadi.She mentioned Zack calling both her and Irina out with claims that they went on the show for fame.«You've plugged your Instagram in this finale or this reunion four different times. Who's here for fame?» Micah asked, referencing Zack's claim of having «receipts» on his personal Instagram account during the reunion.

season 4 stars Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah took to the field on Wednesday at T-Mobile Park in Seattle to celebrate the Mariners — as well as their new life together.The couple came out to throw the first pitch in the Mariners' match-up against the Milwaukee Brewers, in what was their first public appearance the fourth season of the hit Netflix reality dating series came to an end.Griffin, a Seattle native, took the mound side-by-side with her husband, rocking Mariners jerseys with «Appiah» emblazoned on the back of both. Griffin's family cheered her on as she threw out the ceremonial first pitch to outfielder Jarred Kelenic.Apart from Griffin's family, the two were also cheered on by fellow season 4 alums Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi — who are also both Seattle residents.The couples cheered on the home team throughout the game, however the Brewers pulled out a 5-3 win in the end.Both Griffin and Appiah and Goytowski and Poureetezadi found love with one another on the unconventional dating series, and tied the knot back in May 2022.However, unlike Griffin and Appiah, Goytowski and Poureetezadi did not get engaged on the show itself. Goytowski was first engaged to Irina Solomonova, but the pair called off their engaged and Goytoswki subsequently sparked a romance with Poureetezadi.For more on this season of, and the ill-fated reunion special earlier this week, check out the video below.
