Lorraine Kelly has opened up about her family home in the Gorbals with an outside toilet.
The ITV broadcaster grew up in the southside of Glasgow in a one bedroom flat with both of her parents, before she became a household name in broadcasting.
The famously cheery presenter told The Guardian : "My first home, when I was a toddler, was a single end in the Gorbals in Glasgow. One room, with an outside toilet.
"Then we moved to a room and a kitchen in Bridgeton, in the east end of the city."
Lorraine's father, John, worked as a television repairman in Glasgow before his retirement.
She continued: "My dad worked really hard, six days a week, and Mum worked on a Saturday, so Sunday was our family day.
"As Dad had the car he might take us to Loch Lomond or to the Ayrshire coast."
Lorraine's mum Anne, 80, still lives in East Kilbride, as the daytime TV presenter previously said she "can’t imagine life without her.”
Lorraine now lives in Buckinghamshire in a stunning riverside home, after relocating from Dundee in 2017 when daughter Rosie moved out.
She sold her seven-bedroom mansion for £845,000 to move closer to London for work, Hello! reports.
Speaking to Wayfair in 2018, she explained: "My husband and I have recently moved to a much smaller house as there's only the two of us now."
