Lorraine Kelly opens up on 'exciting' baby news with revealing statement

Lorraine Kelly has opened up about what an "exciting" time it is for her family, as her daughter is pregnant with her first child.
The host, 64, of her titled ITV daytime show also gave an insight into her relationship with her daughter and outlined her "badge of honour".
The TV star's excitement for her first grandchild hasn't gone unnoticed since her daughter, 29, publicly announced the news in April. Speaking further about her daughter's pregnancy, Lorraine told Bella Magazine: "It's the most exciting thing that has happened to our family in a long time.
It will be really really lovely." The TV presenter admitted that she will have to make sure not to "interfere too much" and that she's not "too much of a nuisance". But Lorraine explained she's got such a close relationship with her daughter that they wouldn't have any problems communicating if it was getting too much.
She said: "I've just said to Rosie, 'I'm here for you, anything you need.' She's good though, we've got that kind of relationship that if I was annoying her, she would just say 'Enough, go home'". Lorraine, who is being awarded a special BAFTA for her successful daytime show, added that her daughter is "going to be the best mum" and said: "she's much more grown-up than I am." When asked by the publisher what name she'll go by in her new role, Lorraine said: "Granny.
Granny Smith" which is her marital surname. She went on to say that it will be her "badge of honour and the "best title I've ever had in my life."
