Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall has revealed the shock reason that the band changed their name.The girl band were formed on The X Factor over 10 years ago back in 2011, and when Jade, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and former member Jesy Nelson were first put into the group they were initially called Rhythmix. Little Mix were spotted out and about in Nottingham on Tuesday following back to back performances at the city's Motorpoint Arena. Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall were joined by a burly bodyguard as they headed for lunch at Latin American restaurant Las Iguanas. Despite the warm weather Perrie, 28, wrapped up warm in a cream fleece jacket, which she wore with a white T-shirt, matching joggers and trainers.
Jade, 29, opted for a loose green checked shirt, white T-shirt and khaki trousers, with Leigh-Anne, 30, rocking a loose-fitting teal tracksuit. The girl's visit to Nottingham city centre reportedly went largely unnoticed, despite their rather animated security guard. He was pictured wearing all black and lifted his arms after onlookers began photographing the band members.
Photos show the bodyguard raising his arms and looking directly into the camera as Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade walked behind him. The new photos come just as it was revealed on Tuesday that Perrie, 28, revealed that she's on 'vocal rest' after being struck down with a throat infection.
