AleXa has signed a contract with California-based United Talent Agency (UTA) and is set to release a new mini-album next month.Billboard reported earlier today (October 20) that AleXa has signed with UTA for representation in all aspects, including fields aside from music such as television, film and licensing. However, the outlet clarified that the K-pop idol’s existing contract with her Korea-based label ZB Label is still in effect.Following her partnership with UTA, Billboard also announced that AleXa has an upcoming mini-album in the works. Slated for release on November 10, the singer will be dropping a pre-release single for the record titled ‘Back in Vogue’.

Florence + The Machine have shared a new live album recorded at their huge Madison Square Garden show in New York last month.The gig took place on September 17 as part of a world tour behind Florence’s new album ‘Dance Fever’, and a 24-track live album of the performance has hit streaming services today (October 14).The career-spanning set begins with recent single ‘Heaven Is Here’, with ‘Dance Fever’ songs ‘Free’, ‘King’ and more also aired.The live album then finishes with renditions of huge hits ‘Shake It Out’ and ‘Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)’.Listen to the whole thing below.The North American leg of the ‘Dance Fever’ world tour will wrap up tonight (October 14) with a show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Michele Amabile Angermiller New York City alternative rock station 92.3, which was once home to Howard Stern, will sign off on October 27 as Audacy flips the format to News radio 1010 WINS on the FM frequency. Alt 92.3 brand manager Mike Kaplan — who exited as program director of Los Angeles alt-rock station KROQ in March and as format vice president for Audacy’s portfolio of alternative stations (both positions are now held by Kevin Weatherly) — will remain through the transitional phase. Alt 92.3 will move to Audacy’s streaming platform, 92.3 HD2 and nationwide via the Audacy app and website. The station’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts will remain intact. 

FX’s Kindred, the new drama series based on Octavia E. Butler’s novel, will premiere Tuesday, December 13 exclusively on Hulu. The premiere will include all eight episodes. 

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! during its stint in Brooklyn, Ukranian-born actress Mia Kunis was booed by the show's audience. On the program to promote her new Netflix thriller, "Luckiest Girl Alive," Kunis began lamenting over a near wardrobe malfunction, as she did not have a bra or underwear to go with her outfit, which featured a transparent dress. Kimmel, who typically tapes his show from Los Angeles, said to Kunis, "You seem like you could be a New Yorker, but you're not a New Yorker, right?" As the 39-year-old began to answer, she was immediately taken aback by someone in the crowd booing her, to which she retorted, "What? Who booed?" Mila Kunis appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and was booed by fans in Brooklyn.

Quentin Tarantino is prepping to embark on a book tour for his first nonfiction book “Cinema Speculation,” which releases on Nov. 1. The tour will see the filmmaker, cinephile and now podcaster make stops in five major U.S. cities from Nov. 3-16. Tarantino will kick off his promo jaunt in Los Angeles, then head to San Francisco, Portland and Austin before concluding at The Town Hall in New York City. In “Cinema Speculation,” the “Pulp Fiction” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” director finally does what fans have anticipated throughout his 30-year long career: write about and analyze the films that shaped him, from his early childhood to his adulthood. As one of the most famous movie-lovers of all time, Tarantino packs in film criticism, film theory, reporting and personal history while centering on key movies made throughout the 1970s. The book will be published by Harper Collins and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. The book follows Tarantino’s New York Times No. 1 bestseller “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” a novelization of his 2019 film of the same name.
