Halle Bailey has dropped her debut solo single ‘Angel’, following her success in Disney’s The Little Mermaid.Bailey (monomously known as Halle) and her sister Chlöe formed the singing duo Chloe X Halle in 2011 and in 2015, their YouTube cover of Beyoncé‘s ‘Pretty Hurts’ earned them a record deal with Queen Bey’s Parkwood Entertainment. After signing to the label, they dropped two albums; 2018’s ‘The Kids Are Alright’ and 2020’s ‘Ungodly Hour’ – both earning Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist and Best Progressive R&B Album. After teasing her debut single earlier this summer, Halle dropped the anthemic and uplifting single with an accompanying music video. Produced by Theron ‘NeffU’ Feemster (Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo), ‘Angel”s lyrics are empowering over the punchy orchestral arrangements: “Heaven knows your wings can weigh you down, but angels make a way somehow.”The Wendy Morgan-directed music video echoed the song’s angelic theme with contemporary dancers strutting around Bailey, surrounded by a colour palette reminiscent of Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam.“This song for me is so very special and near and dear to my heart,” Halle said in a statement.
“With everything I’ve gone through the past three to four years, suddenly finding myself in this bubble of all these eyes and new opinions, it was easy for me to feel doubt in myself and who I was.“[‘Angel’], for me, was my climb out of those feelings, a mantra and promise to myself that the work I’m doing here on earth matters and that I matter. I wanted to be able to embrace and be proud of myself and who I am naturally through and through.

Selena Gomez is weighing in on the fan speculation over who her new breakup anthem might be about…
Selena Gomez dropped an anthem about an ex — but not the one you think! On Friday, the 30-year-old released her new song, «Single Soon.» The catchy lyrics include lines that say «Should I do it on the phone?/Should I leave a little note/In the pocket of his coat? Yeah/Maybe I'll just disappear/I don't wanna see a tear/And the weekend's almost here.»In the chorus, Gomez gears up to be single, singing, «I'm pickin' out this dress/Tryin' on these shoes/'Cause I'll be single soon/I'll be single soon/I know he'll be a mess/When I break the news/But I'll be single soon/I'll be single soon.»Fans were quick to speculate that the song was about her famous ex, The Weeknd, but Gomez said not so fast. In response to an Instagram post asking fans if they believe the song is about the «Star Boy» singer, the actress commented, «Couldn't be more false.» Gomez and The Weeknd — whose real name is Abel Tesfaye — began dating in 2017 and ended their relationship 10 months later in October.

BreAnna Bell A new sound rocked the Ace Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night as musical trio Chris Moten, Devon “Stixx” Taylor, and Cassius Jay unveiled Andscape’s “Trap Jazz” documentary to the auditorium with a visionary performance including a surprise visit from Chrisette Michele. Directed by Sade Clacken Joseph, the Hulu documentary follows the three musicians on their five-year journey to develop and produce their own sound — a cultural meld that blends two major elements of their backgrounds as Atlanta natives: Trap and Jazz music. “I feel like what we’re doing, we’re able to bridge all the generations, from the young people, to the older, to the middle — it doesn’t matter.
Jem Aswad Executive Editor, Music “Snooze” is one of the most romantic songs on SZA’s chart-topping sophomore album “SOS,” and the song gets a suitably intimate treatment in her new video for the song, which features her snuggling, smoking, swimming arguing and dancing with Justin Bieber, “Power Book II” star Woody McClain, “Beef” hunk Young Mazino and super-producer/songwriter Benny Blanco (who has worked with Bieber, Ed Sheeran and many others as well as his good friend SZA). However, she saves the most intimate dance scenes for … well… you’ll see. Bieber is featured on the song’s extended remix, and he and wife Hailey attended her show in Los Angeles back in March.

Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny continue their romantic relationship. The couple first started dating in February, with fans doubting the rumors of their love after it was reported that the pair were spotted together in Beverly Hills, on a double date with Justin and Hailey Bieber. And while many had mixed reactions about the romantic rumors, as Bad Bunny was previously linked to Gabriela Berlingeri, while Kendall was in an on-and-off relationship with Devin Booker, it seems the pair have now crossed the six-month mark, and they continue to be crazy about each other.Another reason why fans didn’t think the couple would be a match, was because they seemed to not share many things in common, which also proved to be wrong as they have been spotted on multiple outings, recently sharing some PDA at Drake’s concert in Los Angeles, going on vacation together (most recently in Puerto Rico), attending basketball games, and exclusive fashion events.Bad Bunny also seems to have a good relationship with the Kardashians, previously seen with them at the Met Gala, and recently spotted having a friendly interaction with Kim Kardashian in a new viral video.
