The song means a lot to me and is different to a lot of the music people have heard from me before, so I feel like I get to show a different side to myself as an artist and a writer,” she added.Baby Queen is currently at the tail end of a support tour with Olivia Rodrigo.

Killer Mike has shared his first song as a solo artist in a decade, with the Run the Jewels rapper recruiting Young Thug and comedian Dave Chappelle for ‘RUN’.The No I.D.-produced song begins with a monologue by Chappelle and features a guest verse from Thugger. It arrives alongside a video directed by Adrian Villagomez that depicts Mike and an army of Black soldiers fighting against white fascists in a warzone.During Young Thug’s verse, a banner reads “Free Thug, Protect Black Art, Free Gunna”.

Cardi B has today (June 1) released ‘Hot Shit’, a Kanye West and Lil Durk-assisted song lifted from the rapper’s forthcoming album.The track, which was first confirmed during an advert at the 2022 BET Awards late last month, was produced by hip-hop juggernaut Tay Kieth. FKA twigs has revealed in a new interview that she and Jorja Smith are cousins. The pair, who worked together on this year's "darjeeling," had no knowledge of their family status prior to their collaboration, which featured on twigs' latest mixtape, Caprisongs.

FKA twigs has revealed that she recently found out that she and Jorja Smith are cousins.Speaking in a new interview, the ‘Tears In The Club’ singer said she only discovered Smith was her relative after the pair teamed up on twigs’ recent single ‘Darjeeling’, taken from her January mixtape ‘CAPRISONGS’.“I’d never met her before, and I jumped in her car with her,” twigs told GQ, “and I remember thinking to myself, ‘Gosh, that’s really strange. We’ve got exactly the same kind of skin.'”She continued: “A few months later, I was on the road to go to LA and [Smith] left me a voice note saying, ‘You’re never going to believe this, but I’ve just spoken to my dad and he’s spoken to his sister and we’re related.'”Elsewhere in the interview, twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett) talked about the creative process for ‘CAPRISONGS’, admitting that she felt a lot of freedom creating the 17-track project.“I didn’t feel trapped, I felt like I was just being myself,” she said.
