SEVENTEEN are set to collaborate with Apple to kick off the tech company’s new K-pop ‘Today At Apple’ sessions.Today (April 7), The K-pop boyband appeared at the new Apple store in Myeongdong, Seoul – which is set to open this Saturday (April 9) – where the tech giant announced that the outlet would serve as a “stage for established and new Korean artists, who will lead unique Today At Apple sessions celebrating contemporary Korean culture”, per a press statement.The first session of the brand-new K-pop ‘Today At Apple’ creative initiative will kick off as a collaboration with SEVENTEEN. Called the ‘Music Lab: SEVENTEEN Remix’, the sessions will feature the members of the boyband teaching visitors to the Apple Store how to use the tech company’s music creation software GarageBand, per Korea JoongAng Daily.The first session ‘Music Lab: SEVENTEEN Remix’ will take place on April 15 at the Apple store in Myeongdong.

Teenage Fanclub have shared a new single, ‘I Left A Light On’, which they say is the first indication that a new album may be on the way.The new song is a slow-burning, piano-led ballad with soaring strings, written by the band’s Norman Blake while they were mixing their latest album, 2021’s ‘Endless Arcade’. It was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales, and arrives alongside a video that shows the band performing it there.“As a band we’ve already started thinking about another new album,” comments Blake.

New Order have launched a new official t-shirt in aid of the British Red Cross’ Ukraine Crisis Appeal.Available through the band’s official merch store, the shirt’s design was inspired by the VHS label of their Taras Shevchenko concert film, which was designed by the Peter Saville Associates agency.The gig in question was filmed in late 1981 at the Ukrainian National Home in New York City. James Blake has shared a new one-hour composition, ‘Wind Down’ – you can hear the new track below.The new “soundscape” has been created by Blake in collaboration with the adaptive sound wellness app Endel – who have previously collaborated with Grimes – with the aim of helping their users “move gently towards a good night’s rest”.‘Wind Down’, which is available on Endel’s range of apps, joins the company’s growing range of sleep and relaxation experiences, which combine Endel’s “signature elegant visuals and sounds with evidence-based insights on what prepares us for a better night’s rest”.“In approximately two hours, Wind Down traces an arc from wakefulness to sleep based on scientific input from SleepScore Labs, which partnered with Endel on this project,” a press release adds.“Wind Down lets me explore the more ambient side of my music and create a project to support people in a new way,” Blake said in a statement about ‘Wind Down’, which you can hear above.“It’s mesmerising to hear how my music blends with the science-based sounds of Endel’s AI and I think we’ve invented something not just beautiful or even meaningful, but truly practical.” Blake, who recently collaborated with Monica Martin for a new rendition of the latter’s track ‘Go Easy, Kid’, will tour in the UK and Europe in April and May.
