Lionsgate has taken a 20% stake in Spyglass Media and formed a strategic content partnership and in the process acquired most of the studio’s film library, which includes roughly 200 titles including films in the “Scream” franchise, “The Upside,” “The King’s Speech” and more. The two companies announced the news jointly on Thursday, and the agreement gives Lionsgate a 20% investment stake in the company.
