Lil Nas X responds to rapper Pastor Troy’s homophobic rant

Lil Nas X has issued a denial in response to a copyright infringement lawsuit over his hit single Rodeo.

In October 2019, Lil Nas X, along with collaborators including Cardi B, faced a copyright infringement lawsuit over his 2019 song “Rodeo.” The lawsuit, filed by producers Don Lee and Glen Keith, claimed that his song shared similarities with their 2017 work “gwenXdonlee4-142,” which was later incorporated into the song “Broad Day” by PuertoReefa and Sakrite Duexe.

Lil Nas X has shared a new video for “Rodeo.” The clip, directed by Bradley & Pablo, has references to horror movies and The Matrix. Watch below.

The namesakes performed the remix for the first time at last night's Grammys, where Lil Nas X also performed "Old Town Road" alongside the many, many different artists who remixed that monster hit.
