Lil Nas X, BTS and More to Team Up for 'Old Town Road All-Stars' GRAMMY Performance

BTS's latest concept photos ahead of their upcoming album release Map of the Soul 7 have their fans buzzing before the Feb. 21 date, especially mega Army soldier Lil Nas X.

On the heels of dropping off the Teen Wolf-inspired "Rodeo" music video with Nas last week, Lil Nas X is looking to keep the momentum going. The 20-year-old took to Instagram, saying that a "Rodeo" remix featuring children's music group The Wiggles is on the way.

With his viral smash hit single “Old Town Road,” 20-year-old rapper Lil Nas X offered up a new version of the iconic, all-American cowboy archetype for Gen Z. And now, he’s facing off against one of the most instantly recognizable cowboys of all time: Western star Sam Elliott.

The Grammys concluded wHith a bang this year with teenage sensation Billie Eilish sweeping the awards. Many other musicians, however, made a whole lot of noise for their performances and wins at the awards night. One of them was singer and rapper Lil Nas X who performed his hit track 'Old Town Road' with Korean pop band BTS and partner Billy Ray Cyrus. Lil Nas X also ended the night on a high as he ended up winning two Grammys.

Nine Inch Nails, a banjo and Lil Nas X made unlikely bed partners in the genre-bending mega-smash “Old Town Road,” which included a track from NIN’s largely instrumental 2008 album “Ghosts I–IV.” But while Trent Reznor and frequent collaborator Atticus Ross receive co-producer/co-writer credits for having created the hit’s hook, don’t expect their names to be called if “Old Town Road” should win record of the year. 

The Billie Eilish vs. Lizzo throwdown has dominated the 2020 Grammy conversation, but there’ll be plenty of other nail-biters when the awards are handed out on Jan. 26. Will Lil Nas X upset girl power in album of the year, record of the year and/or best new artist? Will country legend and 14-time nominee Tanya Tucker finally take home a gong? And will Ariana Grande cap her return to the Grammy telecast with an armful of hardware?
