Atlanta investment firm Bay Point Advisors is launching a film financing division for productions in state with its first project as senior lender to Andrew Baird’s crime thriller One Way with Kevin Bacon, Travis Fimmel and Colson Baker. Atlanta's Lil Yachty is currently working on a full-length project called Michigan Boat Boy, a tape specific to the regional rap scene Yachty's kept close over the past couple of years. His latest song "Royal Rumble" is a posse cut featuring no less than a five rappers representing the Great Lake State: KrispyLife Kidd, RMC Mike, Babyface Ray, Rio Da Yung OG, and Icewear Vezzo turn up for verses on the song (Dc2Trill, who may or may not be from Michigan, also features).

Lil Yachty is currently negotiating to star in an adaptation of the popular Mattel card game Uno, according to a Variety report. The film will — somehow — be an action heist caper with Atlanta's "underground hip hop world" as the setting.
