Liberty Poole has hit back at trolls who have criticised her for wearing too much makeup.The 22 year old skyrocketed to fame on the popular ITV dating series Love Island last year and also enjoyed a stint on Dancing on Ice earlier this year before being given she was voted off two weeks ago. And with the exciting television, fashion and beauty opportunities comes the cruel online remarks - something the reality star is unfortunately all too familiar with.
However, Liberty, who recently thought she would "die from bacterial poisoning", has stood her ground when it comes to getting primed and preened. In an interview with The Sun, Liberty insisted that her love for hair, makeup, fake tan and false lashes was passed down to her from her mother, Jo.The blonde explained that she had been wearing make-up since the age of 12 and even wore high heels to the supermarket to reach the top shelf because she was short.
"I love getting glammed up, but I also love being more natural, too. But the minute I'm glam, people are like, 'Oh, she's got too much make-up on', but when I'm more natural, I get negative comments, too.
I just can't win," Liberty added.The reality sensation added that she is constantly "judged for wearing too much make-up", but it "only takes me twenty minutes to do it". Despite the trolling, Liberty said that it doesn't affect her too much as she is "lucky" to be "quite tough-skinned".
